La description

Own People & Culture end to end in Angola. You build the culture, run operations, ensure compliance, and act as a true partner to local leadership. You operate independently, solve problems early, and take full ownership of everything people-related on the ground.

What You’ll Do

  • Own culture: turn values into daily behaviors across teams.
  • Lead HR end to end: from hiring to exit, ensure a strong and consistent employee experience.
  • Build what matters: design and implement HR policies, processes, and systems that support business growth.
  • Ensure compliance: stay ahead of Angolan labor law, manage contracts, and work directly with local legal counsel.
  • Run payroll flawlessly: accurate and on time, every time.
  • Handle employee relations: address issues firmly, fairly, and legally.
  • Partner with leadership: advise, challenge, and support decision-making.
  • Drive performance: implement and manage performance cycles that raise standards.
  • Develop people: identify gaps and deliver practical, high-impact training.
  • Own data: track HR metrics and provide clear, actionable insights.
  • Maintain standards: ensure employee records and documentation are always accurate and complete.
  • Support the workplace: keep the office organized, functional, and productive.

What You Bring

  • Solid knowledge of Angolan labor law and HR best practices.
  • Ability to balance strategy and execution.
  • Confidence handling complex employee relations matters.
  • Clear, direct communication and strong stakeholder management.
  • High attention to detail, especially in legal and administrative work.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Fluency in Portuguese (required).
  • Fluency in English (required).
  • Degree in HR or a related field
